Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession focused on movement and functional capacity. It aims to promote well-being by addressing conditions related to diseases, congenital disabilities, injuries, or age-related functional decline. A physiotherapist assesses musculoskeletal problems and their underlying causes, helps alleviate pain, and addresses body postures and movement patterns. Physiotherapy is based on scientific research and has made significant strides towards an active rehabilitative approach.

Physiotherapy – What to expect at physiotherapy session?

Common assessment methods include observation, interviews, manual examinations, questionnaire surveys, as well as various tests and measurements. Based on the initial assessment, a physiotherapy plan is developed. Guidance and advice, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and physical treatments are among the methods used in treatment. The physiotherapist also evaluates the need for assistive devices and provides guidance on their use. Typically, a patient leaves a physiotherapy session with a rehabilitation plan, which includes discussing the patient’s condition and potential causes of symptoms, home care instructions (often including exercises), and a plan for further treatment. Our physiotherapists are capable of treating a wide range of musculoskeletal problems.

We recommend to book 60min session for the first visit.

It is advisable to schedule an appointment with a physiotherapist if you experience:

  • Neck or back pain
  • Shoulder, knee, hip or ankle pain
  • Muscle of tendon injuries
  • Range of motion, movement issues
  • Dizzined and/or headaches

It can also be beneficial for post-operative conditions and rehabilitation. In practice, almost all problems affecting the musculoskeletal system fall within the scope of physiotherapy. If you are unsure whether your condition requires an appointment with a physiotherapist, you can always contact us and inquire about the suitability of treatment for your situation.

Common musculoskeletal issues that we treat:

  • Tennis and golfers elbow
  • Rotator cuff issues
  • Low back pain
  • Overuse injuries such as runner’s knee, jumper’s knee and tendonitis issues

Physiotherapy is planned in collaboration with the client, taking into account their needs and preferences. Starting treatment early prevents the prolongation of symptoms and reduces the adverse effects of existing conditions. The active participation of the individual undergoing rehabilitation plays a crucial role in physiotherapy. Physiotherapy is also well-suited for preventive measures against ailments.

We recommend booking your first appointment for a minimum of 60 minutes to allow sufficient time for assessment.
