Heikki Hulkko

Physiotherapist

I started working in the field as a sports massage therapist in 2007, after which I wanted to deepen my skills and knowledge. I pursued studies in physiotherapy and graduated in 2012. Following graduation, I underwent numerous supplementary trainings focusing on movement analysis and management (Kinetic Control – Managing Movement Solutions). In 2020, I trained as a strength coach, and in 2021, I furthered my knowledge in exercise physiology.

Over 10 years of comprehensive experience in the health and fitness industry have enabled me to engage in diverse practices in treating various musculoskeletal issues. Typical clients for physiotherapy and coaching include recreational athletes, active individuals, competitive athletes, and the elderly.

My own athletic background lies in martial arts, particularly Brazilian jiu-jitsu and wrestling, but I also have experience in mixed martial arts and boxing. Currently, my focus is solely on strength training. I believe that my experience and knowledge in these sports help me better understand the demands of different disciplines and typical sports injuries encountered. Some injuries can be prevented through good, sport-specific supplementary training. Treatment or coaching plans are always tailored to the individual’s needs and starting point, supporting the client’s goals.
