Small Group Coach, Bachelor/Master of Health Sciences

I am a Master’s student in Sports and Exercise Medicine and a former professional ice hockey player with a deep understanding of human physiology, performance, training load, and recovery—both in theory and in practice. I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Health Sciences at the University of Eastern Finland, majoring in Sports and Exercise Medicine and Health-Enhancing Physical Activity. As a minor subject, I have studied Sports Nutrition.

My career as an elite athlete, along with my current goal-oriented CrossFit training, has given me strong insight and experience into what sustainable performance development and balanced recovery require—both physically and mentally. In my coaching, I combine evidence-based methods with years of hands-on experience in high-performance sports.

As a small group coach, my aim is to bring the perspective of sports medicine into everyday training. My coaching focuses on safe and progressive development, whether the goal is improved functional capacity, increased muscle strength, or optimized performance. My approach is built around scientific knowledge, practical experience, and, above all, consideration of the individual’s needs.

My goal is to inspire clients toward sustainable, progressive, and motivating training, while supporting their overall well-being—both in daily life and in their training. In addition, I strive to promote a balanced approach to exercise, where performance enhancement and recovery go hand in hand. When the overall picture is in balance, it creates the foundation for long-term performance development and comprehensive support for health.
